Guayacán

This guitar started with the wood—and a decision to keep things simple. Every material was chosen to highlight its natural qualities, not to cover them up.

The top and sides are made from Guayacán, one of the hardest and most resonant woods in the world. Naturally rich in oils, it produces a warm, focused tone with long sustain and striking grain patterns that need no stain or gloss.

The back is a figured hardwood with mirrored grain. A single geometric inlay was added—not as decoration, but to mark the symmetry already present. Canadian Fir lines the inside for added clarity, and the neck is carved from Chanul—light, stable, and smooth to the touch.

The fretboard, bridge, and key details are made from Sapan (Alma Negra)—a dense, dark hardwood that’s both durable and understated. Inlays in Cocobolo, Ebony, Nazareno, and Teak offer subtle contrast without drawing attention away from the wood itself. Each tuning key was hand-carved to fit the guitar’s tone and feel.

The sound is clear, balanced, and responsive—especially suited for expressive, dynamic playing.
